Personal Care Attendant
Personal Care Attendant (PCA) services are provided under the supervision of an RN to qualified recipients who need assistance to remain safe in their home environment. These services include:
- Bathing, grooming and hair washing necessary for personal hygiene
- Turning and positioning
- Assistance with medications
- Dressing and undressing
- Assistance with food, nutrition and diet activities
- Transfers
- Skin, bowel and bladder care
- Range of motion exercises
- Light housekeeping
- Short errands
- Assistance to attend activities
